Where these came from
These come from 12 different sources, led by cz.usembassy.gov (17), the UK Foreign Office's travel advice (12) and a German diplomatic mission (11). Consular lists are the reason a language turns up far from where it is spoken: a mission publishes the doctors and lawyers its own citizens can talk to, which is a language claim someone else made in public and we can point at.
51 of the 55 sit on an official list. The rest rest on the provider saying so, or on a directory that says it of its whole roster, which is a weaker claim and is labelled as such on every card.
What this page is not
The coverage is not even across services: lawyers account for 27 of the 55, while therapists account for 2. That reflects which professions get published in language-tagged lists, not which ones exist.
Questions
- How many Czech-speaking providers are listed?
- 55, in 11 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source, not an estimate of how many exist.
- Where is Czech easiest to find?
- Prague with 42, Brno with 4 and Antalya with 1. Together that is 85% of this page.
- Does a listing mean the provider speaks Czech personally?
- Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Czech speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used so you can judge it.
