Where these came from

These come from 10 different sources, led by the Slovak Bar Association (437), mzv.gov.cz (41) and the Victorian Legal Services Board + Commissioner (5). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Czech turns up in 13 countries rather than only where Czech is spoken.

Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.

Where we have nothing

We list lawyers in 473 further cities with no Czech speaker recorded, among them Prague (5999), Brno (1035), Vilnius (552) and Budapest (371). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Czech.

Questions

How many Czech-speaking lawyers does this page list?
492, in 29 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
Where are most of them?
Bratislava with 334, Košice with 58 and Zilina with 30. Together that is 86% of the page.
Does a listing mean the lawyer speaks Czech personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Czech speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
