Where these came from

These come from 4 different sources, led by the Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Hamburg, Hamburg's statutory doctors' association (11), mzv.gov.cz (3) and the Ärztekammer für Steiermark, Styria's statutory doctors' chamber (2). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Czech turns up in 4 countries rather than only where Czech is spoken.

Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.

Where we have nothing

We list doctors in 397 further cities with no Czech speaker recorded, among them Tokyo (2113), Osaka (1015), Nagoya (770) and Fukuoka (745). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Czech.

Questions

How many Czech-speaking doctors does this page list?
17, in 6 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
Where are most of them?
Hamburg with 11, Graz with 2 and Athens with 1. Together that is 82% of the page.
Does a listing mean the doctor speaks Czech personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Czech speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
