By service
What you can actually get in Spanish, biggest first. Where a service has enough Spanish speakers to be worth its own page, the card goes there.

Where these came from
These come from 61 different sources, led by exteriores.gob.es (1857), the UK Foreign Office's Find a professional service abroad (268) and the French embassy in Spain (144). Consular lists are the reason a language turns up far from where it is spoken: a mission publishes the doctors and lawyers its own citizens can talk to, which is a language claim someone else made in public and we can point at.
2770 of the 2813 sit on an official list. The rest rest on the provider saying so, or on a directory that says it of its whole roster, which is a weaker claim and is labelled as such on every card.
What this page is not
The coverage is not even across services: translators account for 1924 of the 2813, while hairdressers account for 1. That reflects which professions get published in language-tagged lists, not which ones exist.
Questions
- How many Spanish-speaking providers are listed?
- 2813, in 100 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source, not an estimate of how many exist.
- Where is Spanish easiest to find?
- Madrid with 939, Barcelona with 398 and Las Palmas with 161. Together that is 53% of this page.
- Does a listing mean the provider speaks Spanish personally?
- Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Spanish speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used so you can judge it.
