Where these came from

These come from 2 different sources, led by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (5) and Seoul's open data portal (3). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Spanish turns up in 2 countries rather than only where Spanish is spoken.

Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.

Where we have nothing

We list pharmacies in 28 further cities with no Spanish speaker recorded, among them Osaka (55), Nagoya (37), Okayama (20) and Sapporo (20). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Spanish.

Questions

How many Spanish-speaking pharmacies does this page list?
8, in 6 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
Where are most of them?
Seoul with 3, Fukuoka with 1 and Kobe with 1. Together that is 63% of the page.
Does a listing mean the pharmacy speaks Spanish personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Spanish speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
