Where these came from

These come from 19 different sources, led by the Polish Ministry of Justice (193), Norway's national interpreter register (IMDi) (64) and the Czech Ministry of Justice (52). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Ukrainian turns up in 19 countries rather than only where Ukrainian is spoken.

Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.

Where we have nothing

We list translators in 265 further cities with no Ukrainian speaker recorded, among them Madrid (767), São Paulo (763), Mexico City (244) and Barcelona (222). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Ukrainian.

Questions

How many Ukrainian-speaking translators does this page list?
421, in 57 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
Where are most of them?
Warsaw with 66, Oslo with 62 and Krakow with 34. Together that is 38% of the page.
Does a listing mean the translator speaks Ukrainian personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Ukrainian speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
