Where these came from

These come from 33 different sources, led by the Romanian Ministry of Justice (63), the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice (Sở Tư pháp TP. Hồ Chí Minh) (29) and the Polish Ministry of Justice (17). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Chinese turns up in 33 countries rather than only where Chinese is spoken.

266 of the 267 sit on an official list; the rest rest on the provider saying so or on a directory listing, and each card says which.

Where we have nothing

We list translators in 264 further cities with no Chinese speaker recorded, among them Krakow (607), Wrocław (274), Munich (190) and Gdańsk (184). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Chinese.
