Where these came from

These come from 16 different sources, led by a Korean embassy or consulate (41), the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice (Sở Tư pháp TP. Hồ Chí Minh) (16) and the Colegio de Traductores Públicos de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (7). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Korean turns up in 18 countries rather than only where Korean is spoken.

Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.

Where we have nothing

We list translators in 296 further cities with no Korean speaker recorded, among them Madrid (767), Krakow (607), Rosario (593) and Bratislava (382). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Korean.

Questions

How many Korean-speaking translators does this page list?
89, in 26 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
Where are most of them?
Ho Chi Minh City with 15, Rome with 9 and Buenos Aires with 7. Together that is 35% of the page.
Does a listing mean the translator speaks Korean personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Korean speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
