This page lists every city where a published source says a provider works in Hebrew. If you know a provider that belongs here, tell us and include where the language is stated.
Where these came from
These come from 32 different sources, led by the Victorian Legal Services Board + Commissioner (82), the Romanian Ministry of Justice (39) and the UK Foreign Office's Find a professional service abroad (20). Consular lists are the reason a language turns up far from where it is spoken: a mission publishes the doctors and lawyers its own citizens can talk to, which is a language claim someone else made in public and we can point at.
211 of the 212 sit on an official list; the rest rest on the provider saying so or on a directory listing, and each card says which.
What this page is not
The coverage is not even across services: lawyers account for 123 of the 212, while opticians account for 1. That reflects which professions get published in language-tagged lists, not which ones exist.
Questions
- How many Hebrew-speaking providers are listed?
- 212, in 41 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source, not an estimate of how many exist.
- Where is Hebrew easiest to find?
- Melbourne with 82, Bucharest with 39 and Tel Aviv with 23. Together that is 68% of this page.
- Does a listing mean the provider speaks Hebrew personally?
- Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Hebrew speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used so you can judge it.
