Where these came from

These come from 14 different sources, led by the Victorian Legal Services Board + Commissioner (82), the Czech Bar Association (5) and a United States embassy or consulate (4). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Hebrew turns up in 13 countries rather than only where Hebrew is spoken.

Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.

Where we have nothing

We list lawyers in 488 further cities with no Hebrew speaker recorded, among them Brno (1035), Vilnius (552), Košice (421) and Budapest (371). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Hebrew.

Questions

How many Hebrew-speaking lawyers does this page list?
103, in 14 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
Where are most of them?
Melbourne with 82, Prague with 5 and Ramallah with 4. Together that is 88% of the page.
Does a listing mean the lawyer speaks Hebrew personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Hebrew speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
