Where these came from

These come from 11 different sources, led by Austria's Ministry of Justice (court interpreter list) (65), the Croatian Ministry of Justice, Administration and Digital Transformation (57) and the Polish Ministry of Justice (34). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Serbian turns up in 15 countries rather than only where Serbian is spoken.

Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.

Where we have nothing

We list translators in 279 further cities with no Serbian speaker recorded, among them Buenos Aires (3327), Madrid (767), São Paulo (763) and Oslo (652). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Serbian.

Questions

How many Serbian-speaking translators does this page list?
271, in 43 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
Where are most of them?
Vienna with 45, Zagreb with 34 and Bucharest with 22. Together that is 37% of the page.
Does a listing mean the translator speaks Serbian personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Serbian speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
