Where these came from

These come from 15 different sources, led by the Romanian Ministry of Justice (68), the Slovak Ministry of Justice (7) and Norway's national interpreter register (IMDi) (7). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Greek turns up in 15 countries rather than only where Greek is spoken.

Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.

Where we have nothing

We list translators in 295 further cities with no Greek speaker recorded, among them Madrid (767), Rosario (593), Poznań (358) and Wrocław (274). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Greek.

Questions

How many Greek-speaking translators does this page list?
121, in 27 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
Where are most of them?
Bucharest with 68, Oslo with 7 and Bratislava with 6. Together that is 67% of the page.
Does a listing mean the translator speaks Greek personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Greek speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
