Where these came from

These come from 6 different sources, led by a German diplomatic mission (116), the UK Foreign Office's Find a professional service abroad (74) and gr.usembassy.gov (30). Consular lists are the reason a language turns up far from where it is spoken: a mission publishes the doctors and lawyers its own citizens can talk to, which is a language claim someone else made in public and we can point at.

230 of the 231 sit on an official list. The rest rest on the provider saying so, or on a directory that says it of its whole roster, which is a weaker claim and is labelled as such on every card.

What this page is not

The coverage is not even across services: lawyers account for 99 of the 231, while vets account for 1. That reflects which professions get published in language-tagged lists, not which ones exist.

Questions

How many Greek-speaking providers are listed?
231, in 15 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source, not an estimate of how many exist.
Where is Greek easiest to find?
Athens with 190, Rhodes with 12 and Corfu with 7. Together that is 90% of this page.
Does a listing mean the provider speaks Greek personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Greek speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used so you can judge it.
