Where these came from

These come from 13 different sources, led by the Polish Ministry of Justice (18), the Finnish National Agency for Education (authorised translators) (8) and the UK Foreign Office's Find a professional service abroad (3). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Danish turns up in 12 countries rather than only where Danish is spoken.

Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.

Where we have nothing

We list translators in 300 further cities with no Danish speaker recorded, among them Zagreb (806), Madrid (767), São Paulo (763) and Vienna (410). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Danish.

Questions

How many Danish-speaking translators does this page list?
44, in 22 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
Where are most of them?
Gdańsk with 5, Helsinki with 5 and Poznań with 5. Together that is 34% of the page.
Does a listing mean the translator speaks Danish personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Danish speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
