This page lists every city where a published source says a provider works in Persian. If you know a provider that belongs here, tell us and include where the language is stated.
Where these came from
These come from 34 different sources, led by the Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Hamburg, Hamburg's statutory doctors' association (180), the Victorian Legal Services Board + Commissioner (110) and Norway's national interpreter register (IMDi) (43). Consular lists are the reason a language turns up far from where it is spoken: a mission publishes the doctors and lawyers its own citizens can talk to, which is a language claim someone else made in public and we can point at.
496 of the 497 sit on an official list; the rest rest on the provider saying so or on a directory listing, and each card says which.
What this page is not
The coverage is not even across services: doctors account for 172 of the 497, while dentists account for 3. That reflects which professions get published in language-tagged lists, not which ones exist.
Questions
- How many Persian-speaking providers are listed?
- 497, in 47 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source, not an estimate of how many exist.
- Where is Persian easiest to find?
- Hamburg with 182, Melbourne with 110 and Oslo with 41. Together that is 67% of this page.
- Does a listing mean the provider speaks Persian personally?
- Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Persian speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used so you can judge it.
