Where these came from

These come from 10 different sources, led by the Croatian Ministry of Justice, Administration and Digital Transformation (40), Austria's Ministry of Justice (court interpreter list) (13) and the UK Foreign Office's Find a professional service abroad (5). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Slovenian turns up in 10 countries rather than only where Slovenian is spoken.

Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.

Where we have nothing

We list translators in 301 further cities with no Slovenian speaker recorded, among them Madrid (767), São Paulo (763), Oslo (652) and Krakow (607). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Slovenian.

Questions

How many Slovenian-speaking translators does this page list?
68, in 21 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
Where are most of them?
Zagreb with 22, Rijeka with 10 and Vienna with 5. Together that is 54% of the page.
Does a listing mean the translator speaks Slovenian personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Slovenian speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
