This page lists every city where a published source says a provider works in Bulgarian. If you know a provider that belongs here, tell us and include where the language is stated.
Where these came from
These come from 29 different sources, led by the Romanian Ministry of Justice (50), the Polish Ministry of Justice (34) and the UK Foreign Office's Find a professional service abroad (30). Consular lists are the reason a language turns up far from where it is spoken: a mission publishes the doctors and lawyers its own citizens can talk to, which is a language claim someone else made in public and we can point at.
Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.
What this page is not
The coverage is not even across services: translators account for 152 of the 232, while tax advisers account for 1. That reflects which professions get published in language-tagged lists, not which ones exist.
Questions
- How many Bulgarian-speaking providers are listed?
- 232, in 48 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source, not an estimate of how many exist.
- Where is Bulgarian easiest to find?
- Bucharest with 50, Sofia with 21 and Prague with 19. Together that is 39% of this page.
- Does a listing mean the provider speaks Bulgarian personally?
- Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Bulgarian speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used so you can judge it.
