Where these came from

These come from 6 different sources, led by the Czech Ministry of Justice (3), the Polish Ministry of Justice (3) and the Romanian Ministry of Justice (2). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Indonesian turns up in 6 countries rather than only where Indonesian is spoken.

Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.

Where we have nothing

We list translators in 315 further cities with no Indonesian speaker recorded, among them Buenos Aires (3327), Zagreb (806), Madrid (767) and São Paulo (763). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Indonesian.

Questions

How many Indonesian-speaking translators does this page list?
11, in 7 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
Where are most of them?
Prague with 3, Bucharest with 2 and Poznań with 2. Together that is 64% of the page.
Does a listing mean the translator speaks Indonesian personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include an Indonesian speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
