These come from 6 different sources, led by an Italian consulate (47), an Italian consulate (29) and an Italian consulate (20). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Italian turns up in 2 countries rather than only where Italian is spoken.

114 of the 115 sit on an official list; the rest rest on the provider saying so or on a directory listing, which is a weaker claim and is labelled as such on each card.

Where we have nothing

We list lawyers in 198 further cities with no Italian speaker recorded, among them Istanbul (44), Athens (35), Oslo (33) and Nairobi (32). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Italian.
