Where these came from

These come from 22 different sources, led by the Rechtsanwaltskammer Düsseldorf, the statutory bar of the Düsseldorf district (35), the Victorian Legal Services Board + Commissioner (23) and the Czech Bar Association (9). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Dutch turns up in 16 countries rather than only where Dutch is spoken.

Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.

Where we have nothing

We list lawyers in 474 further cities with no Dutch speaker recorded, among them Brno (1035), Košice (421), Budapest (371) and Tbilisi (314). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Dutch.
