This page lists every city where we can point at a source saying a therapist works in Russian. If you know a provider that belongs here, tell us and include where the language is stated.
Where these came from
These come from 7 different sources, led by the Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Hamburg, Hamburg's statutory doctors' association (20), the Psychotherapeutenkammer NRW, the statutory psychotherapists' chamber of North Rhine-Westphalia (18) and a German diplomatic mission (2). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Russian turns up in 4 countries rather than only where Russian is spoken.
41 of the 44 sit on an official list, 1 confirmed its own entry to us directly; the rest rest on the provider saying so or on a directory listing, and each card says which.
Where we have nothing
We list therapists in 119 further cities with no Russian speaker recorded, among them Paris (54), Graz (50), Brussels (46) and Vienna (27). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Russian.
Questions
- How many Russian-speaking therapists does this page list?
- 44, in 7 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
- Where are most of them?
- Hamburg with 20, Cologne with 8 and Düsseldorf with 8. Together that is 82% of the page.
- Does a listing mean the therapist speaks Russian personally?
- Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Russian speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
