Where these came from

These come from 1 different source, led by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (55). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Korean turns up in 1 country rather than only where Korean is spoken.

Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.

Where we have nothing

We list pharmacies in 20 further cities with no Korean speaker recorded, among them Seoul (453), Kumamoto (11), Nagasaki (9) and Matsuyama (8). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Korean.

Questions

How many Korean-speaking pharmacies does this page list?
55, in 14 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
Where are most of them?
Tokyo with 12, Fukuoka with 8 and Kobe with 8. Together that is 51% of the page.
Does a listing mean the pharmacy speaks Korean personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Korean speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
