Where these came from

These come from 9 different sources, led by the Victorian Legal Services Board + Commissioner (150), gov.pl (7) and the New Zealand Law Society (4). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Urdu turns up in 8 countries rather than only where Urdu is spoken.

Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.

Where we have nothing

We list lawyers in 492 further cities with no Urdu speaker recorded, among them Prague (5999), Düsseldorf (2488), Bratislava (2386) and Brno (1035). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Urdu.

Questions

How many Urdu-speaking lawyers does this page list?
170, in 10 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
Where are most of them?
Melbourne with 149, Auckland with 4 and Jeddah with 4. Together that is 92% of the page.
Does a listing mean the lawyer speaks Urdu personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include an Urdu speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
