Where these came from

These come from 4 different sources, led by the Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Hamburg, Hamburg's statutory doctors' association (8), the Psychotherapeutenkammer NRW, the statutory psychotherapists' chamber of North Rhine-Westphalia (3) and the Psychologists' Commission (ComPsy), Belgium's federal body for the title of psychologist (3). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Portuguese turns up in 3 countries rather than only where Portuguese is spoken.

Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.

Where we have nothing

We list therapists in 121 further cities with no Portuguese speaker recorded, among them Düsseldorf (119), Münster (90), Paris (54) and Graz (50). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Portuguese.

Questions

How many Portuguese-speaking therapists does this page list?
15, in 5 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
Where are most of them?
Hamburg with 8, Cologne with 3 and Brussels with 2. Together that is 87% of the page.
Does a listing mean the therapist speaks Portuguese personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Portuguese speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
