Where these came from

These come from 8 different sources, led by the Victorian Legal Services Board + Commissioner (15), the Czech Bar Association (8) and the Rechtsanwaltskammer Freiburg, the statutory bar of the Freiburg district (4). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Romanian turns up in 7 countries rather than only where Romanian is spoken.

Every one of these sits on an official list, published by a body with nothing to sell.

Where we have nothing

We list lawyers in 494 further cities with no Romanian speaker recorded, among them Bratislava (2386), Brno (1035), Vilnius (552) and Košice (421). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Romanian.

Questions

How many Romanian-speaking lawyers does this page list?
32, in 8 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
Where are most of them?
Melbourne with 15, Prague with 8 and Freiburg with 4. Together that is 84% of the page.
Does a listing mean the lawyer speaks Romanian personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Romanian speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
