Where these came from

These come from 7 different sources, led by a United States embassy or consulate (58), the Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Hamburg, Hamburg's statutory doctors' association (11) and Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (10). A consular list records the language because the mission publishes it for its own citizens, which is why Hindi turns up in 5 countries rather than only where Hindi is spoken.

81 of the 84 sit on an official list; the rest rest on the provider saying so or on a directory listing, and each card says which.

Where we have nothing

We list doctors in 388 further cities with no Hindi speaker recorded, among them Osaka (1015), Nagoya (770), Fukuoka (745) and Graz (581). That is a gap in what has been published, not proof that nobody there works in Hindi.

Questions

How many Hindi-speaking doctors does this page list?
84, in 15 cities. That is the number whose working language we can trace to a published source.
Where are most of them?
Mumbai with 36, Hamburg with 11 and Tokyo with 10. Together that is 68% of the page.
Does a listing mean the doctor speaks Hindi personally?
Not always. Some sources name a practice whose staff include a Hindi speaker rather than the named person, and each card quotes the wording its source used.
